FREELANCE MAKEUP ARTIST - 192 HOURS

The FREELANCE MAKEUP ARTIST PROGRAM is designed specifically for those seeking to learn the skills required to become a freelance makeup artist. The courses and workshops offered in this program begins by introducing students to the essential basics of colors, face and eye shapes, skin tone, product knowledge, and equipment well-being before transitioning into strengthening their confidence, precision, speed and technique for fashion, beauty, and theatrical makeup applications. Upon completing the Airbrushing and Hairstyling workshops, students will learn how to compliment their make-up artistry services and make themselves more valuable to clients, employers, shoots, and the like. 

Becoming a Professional Freelance Makeup Artist requires a keen understanding of the industry and how successful make-up artists can establish their own freelance business. What makes the Robert Fiance Makeup Academy unique is that we are committed to teaching future makeup artists not only how to develop and improve their skills but what to do with those skills after graduating. After all, what good is a convincing smokey eye if you can't convince others of your talent. 

PROGRAM COURSES:

FASHION & BEAUTY MAKEUP ARTISTRY (FAB): 150 HOURS

ADVANCED HD AIRBRUSHING WORKSHOP: 18 HOURS

HAIRSTYLING FOR THE MAKEUP ARTIST WORKSHOP: 24 HOURS

HOW TO SELL BEAUTY WITH WORDS: CAREER TRAINING SEMINAR FOR THE HAIR & MAKEUP ARTIST: 6 HOURS (INCLUDED IN FAB COURSE)

Successful completion of this program will provide students with a Certification in Professional Makeup Artistry, as well as a Certificate of Completion provided for each of the courses and workshops included. Program offerings are the same as those offered individually and may be taken in any order, dependent upon the availability and schedule of each. Students who possess a Cosmetology License or can provide proof of equivalent training in Hairstyling may have the option to enroll in the program without taking the Hairstyling Workshop upon approval of the Academy Director.
